Mr Graham James is a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is qualified in both dentistry and medicine. He has worked with the Sutton Implant Clinic for the past 22 years, and with principle dentist Puneet Jain for the last eight.

He provides surgical and medical support for the team here at The Sutton Implant Clinic and also conscious sedation for patients who are nervous or who require more complex procedures in the practice.

Graham has over 20 years of experience of providing patients with dental implants, one of his special interest areas of practice. As well as surgically placing implants, including in complex cases, he also teaches dental implantology to other dentists and surgical trainees both in his hospital practice and on courses organised by the International Team for Implantology.

He welcomes patients who require complex and additional treatments before receiving dental implants, after suffering bone loss. Even if your own dentist has told you that you are not suitable for implant treatment because you have not got enough bone density in your jaw, Graham will be able to help you. He is experienced in carrying out bone grafts and sinus lifts, procedures designed to rebuild the jaw bone so that it is dense enough to support dental implants.

As a maxillofacial surgeon, Graham is able also carry out a wide range of other oral surgical procedures, either here at the practice or at the hospital where he has access to general anaesthesia.

Graham has a wealth of experience in dentistry and surgery and fosters the development of dentists to demonstrate the highest quality of care. He is a popular member of our team and has an excellent professional reputation and years of experience.

All our dentists adhere to the strict guidelines governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".
